Problem and Consequences of BPO ?

Various surveys and research conducted amongst the call center employees have shown that depression is the most common problem faced by BPO employees. Frequent headaches, feeling of fatigue, sleeping disorders and frustration have become regular problems for them.

The basic profile of the BPO employees is trouble-shooting, sales or revenue collection. All of these are done through tele-calling. Talking to foreigners in a fake foreign accent, solving other people?s problems, facing and handling the anger and abuse of the clients become a routine for these juvenile population.The major problems are inadequate Bandwidth capacity, pool of English speaking class and improper infrastructure. Customer service is the fulfilling right expectations of customer when he buys the product. When customer buys any product he may not be aware about the use of product or may he gets some issues with the product. So resolving queries or educating about product this could be the goal of a customer service. It is as simple as the example of our own. When we buy any product we get queries, and if there is no one to resolve our queries, we either throw the product away or get frustrated. A good customer service is a good way to grow the business.

What are the works of Team Leader in Call Center?

To Take care of the team with motivation. Checking on daily performance of each team member which includes (Shift and Break Adherence, AHT, Occupancy, Ring time and of course quality, and give them the feedback on area of improvement and tracking attendance,remote or nice call monitoring, taking escalations and taking team meetings and also giving update about the new information on floor. So, it helps agents? or team members can wrap the calls soon maintain the AHT and SL when there is spike in call flow. Recognize the good players of the team and out layers. Give more importance to out layers and do not neglect good performers. Give an opportunity/responsibility to the good performers as ur back up to check the out layers performances before there shift or after there shift or when team leaders presence is not there. So, that performance will not decline. Interacting with back end and trouble shooting unsolved issues through mails or trunk calls.
